Bio
Aref Ghazvini is an Amsterdam-based entrepreneur who has spent his career sitting at the intersection of capital, data, and early-stage startups. He trained as a computer scientist at University of the People before earning an MSc in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at HEC Paris — a combination that shaped him into the kind of operator who can build the systems as well as run them.
His most formative stretch came at Startupbootcamp, where as Global Director of Portfolio he built the internal tooling to track thousands of startup investments, and brokered multi-million-euro exits across the portfolio. That vantage point — watching founders struggle to get the financial infrastructure they need — appears to have been the direct seed for his current company: a stealth fintech building what he describes as a bank for founders.
Before the current venture, Aref co-founded Bizdex as COO, and has co-ownership in GDV Ventures alongside earlier projects Mithra and parsa. He is a repeat builder who moves from accelerator operations to founder tooling to financial infrastructure — always closer to the founding moment than anywhere else.
