Bio

Saptarshi Chakraborty is the co-founder and product owner of EventLabs, a Rotterdam-based startup turning conferences and events into persistent, searchable knowledge assets. Founded in 2024 alongside Rajarshi Chakraborty, EventLabs operates on a simple conviction: the vast majority of value generated at a live event disappears the moment the room empties. Saptarshi is building the tooling to close that gap.

His background spans a mixed arc through AI, events, and music — prior stints at Niron.ai, Bring The Rhythm, and BIGPOT gave him cross-sector exposure before he went deep on events-tech. The legal entity behind EventLabs is Niron B.V., suggesting EventLabs may have grown directly out of his earlier AI work rather than starting cold. He holds an MBA from the University of Amsterdam.

Two products are live and generating real revenue. RecapHub turns event and webinar recordings into AI-generated summaries and insights. Translingo handles real-time voice translation and spins out post-event content — blogs, newsletters — automatically. Paying customers include Upstream Festival. The product thesis is architectural: events should function as intelligent knowledge engines, not one-time gatherings.
